Billy Mehmet has finally arrived in Kuching City to sign with the Crocs for the coming season.
It is not known much about details of his contract, but rumours are saying that he might be signed for a year, with an option to extend his stay at Stadium Negeri.
While local papers have said that the Irish man would be on trial to impress Robert Alberts, our source reveal that he would be signed immediately as a Crocs, but with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) first.
It is our belief that the signing of the MoU is to ensure Billy stays at Stadium Negeri until he has signed a full contract, which is slated to be done once the Sarawak FA management sorts our their 2015 budget.
Our source also said that the yet to be released budget is also the whole reason why outgoing Bosnian striker Muamer Salibasic’s contract is yet to be dealt with with several sources saying he is still attending training.
