We have confirmation that Azizan Saperi whom was said to have been offered to play with Sarawak next season by a local daily, is not in the final 24 player Sarawak squad.
According to a very reliable source, Robert Albert might be interested to include the youngster in the 2015 squad, but the youngster was so far not registered as a player in Sarawak’s 2015 squad.
The source further added that it was most likely that Robert might have been tempted to sign back Azizan knowing that there was two more slots open, but he (Robert) failed to make a formal request, making Azizan very much left out when the date to register players closed. The source further adds that it is also likely that Robert may have been misquoted or misinterpreted when interviewed.
Our check on the full team rooster during the Sarawak FA friendly with KL SPA last night also revealed that Azizan was not listed as a player, making the tip-off we receive even more credible.
Azizan was previously also quoted by a local daily that he has yet to receive any contract offers from the FA of Sarawak, but would have no problem signing for the Crocs shall he be given a chance.
