Former Sarawak player Akmal Rizal (photo) has signed a one year contract with Kedah United. The stiker looks set to revive his career which went from bad to worst when he was at Sarawak FA, following his inability to break into the Crocs first eleven.
Joining Akmal at Kedah United, formerly known as Persatuan Bola Sepak Melayu Kedah, are experience players such as Mohd Nizat Salleh, Mohd Shukri Fadzil, Mohd Zulfaizam Khamis and Mohd Farizal Rozali.
The club aims to get promoted to the Premier League in 2016 through their participation in the Liga FAM. They will also play in the Malaysia FA Cup.
According to Wikipedia, the Darul Aman Stadium is the home ground of the club which was established in 2012.
