Three Sarawak players, namely Hairol Mokhtar, Bobby Gonzales and Ashri Chuchu has been called to join the national team for centralized training.
Defender Hairol Mokhtar and striker Bobby Gonzales is said to be set to play for Harimau Malaya under the guidance of K. Rajagopal, while Ashri Chuchu would be drafted into Ong Kim Swee’s Harimau Muda squad for the coming SEA games.
The call of Bobby is something many Malaysian football fans have been wanting after the Sabahan born player became the top local goalscorer in the Premier League this year.
Sarawak has in previous months had quite a few of their players being called up for the national team, which include Junior Eldstal, and goalkeeper Sani Anuar.
