The Sarawak SUKMA women’s team were trashed in their opening match of the SUKMA Women’s football competition.
The match which was played at Stadium Negeri in Kuching, saw Pahang score three goals, one in the first half, and two more in the second half, to end the match with a handsome 3-0 win.
Pahang now top Group A of the competition with four points, followed by Sabah, which collected one point from their 1 – 1 draw against Pahang on 14 August 2024.
Pahang has therefore confirmed their place in the quater finals of the women’s football competition.
Sarawak chances are not over as they can still enter the quarter finals if they win against Sabah.
Any other result will see the host packing their bags from the competition.
