Sarawakian football fans want their SUKMA footballers to show more sportsmanship when playing in the competition.
The comments, which flooded social media after the Sarawak versus Wilayah Persekutuan football match, said that the players should be more level headed when playing and should show better sportsmanship as Sarawak is the host of SUKMA.
Other comments said that players should show more discipline and should be more proffesional when on the pitch as well.
Feedback from Sarawak football fans didn’t stop there with some also asking the coaching team to be more professional and take action against players who do not show proper sportmanship and humiliate Sarawak as host.
The flood of comments come as Sarawak were held 1-1 by Wilayah Persekutuan in the second Group D match yesterday.
During the match, unsportsmanlike behaviour was seen involving the Sarawak goalkeeper and a Wilayah Persekutuan player just before hallf time.
The incident saw the Sarawak goalkeeper yellow carded by the referee as tempers flared.
