Dato Sudarsono Othman whom is President of the Sarawak Football Association (FAS) has decided to quit from his role as the manager of Harimau Malaya, which is the national team.
Sudarsono was quoted as saying that he wanted to quit because he his current job needs him to be in Sarawak more often now. A resignation letter has been handed to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) pertaining to the matter,and FAM has confirmed they have received Sudarsono’s resignation letter.
However, FAM has confirmed that they have yet to discuss the resignation of Sudarsono and will wait for a meeting to see if his resignation will be accepted or not.
It must be noted that Sudarsono’s resignation will only affect his role as the Harimau Malaya manager, and shall not affect his role as exco in the national football body.
