If you are a fan of reality TV, or maybe movies made based on a true story, then the Tiger UNCAGE campaign would be perfect for you as it showcases short films that depict real stories from young Asian personalities.
For this round, the likes of Joey Pang whom is a female Chinese tattooist, Shaolin-trained stuntman Charlie Ruedpokanon, and Singaporean filmmaker Anthony Chen are featured in the Tiger UNCAGE campaign as they defy odds in their life to make it big where they currently are.
I found the story of Charlie Ruedpokanon (seen above) in particular very inspiring because he changed the course of his life by ignoring the safely able business management degree he had, to be Asia’s top action stunt master. How often do you see that happening?
Aside from focusing on the three Asian personalities, Tiger Beer, the organizer of the campaign, also hopes that Tiger UNCAGE would go beyond breaking traditional beer advertisement themes in such a way that it would enable them to speak to young adults in a more personal way. The goal is not to only grab their attention, but also hope to inspire these young adults to realize their potential, just like the three personalities above.
In fact, the Tiger Beer brand itself wants to be portrayed as a symbol of courage, in which Tiger hopes to encourage people to ‘ignite the Tiger inside’ by taking risk to follow their passion and dreams.
But there’s more.
A FREE trip to Hong Kong is up for grabs for those watching short movie clips featured under the Tiger UNCAGE campaign with a freehand tattoo made especially by renowned Tattoo Temple also thrown in as a special prize for those interested.
Apart from watching the videos, one can also win exclusive UNCAGE merchandise by joining a photo contest, also organized by Tiger Beer. For more details, it’s best to go to the official site here.
