Sarawakian Gabriel Nistelrooy Tamin who plays for JDT II FC, continues to lead the scoring list of the Piala MFL after four games.
Based on the graphics provided by the Malaysia Football League (MFL), the Iban born striker is leading with five goals, two goals ahead of Nnabuike Chukwu of Terengganu II FC and Wan Fazli Wan Ghazali of Kelantan Darul Naim FC.
The duo has scored 3 goals each after four games in the league.
The goal tally by Gabriel puts him as first favourites to challenge for the Golden Boot award for the league which he missed by a whisker last season.
In last season’s Liga MFL, Gabriel was the second highest goal scorer of the league with 13 goals, sharing the spot with PDRM hotshot Chukwu Chijioke.
Kedah Darul Aman’s Ebenezer Assifuah won the golden boot for the Liga MFL in 2023 with 16 goals.
