Sarawak might have a second football association if everything goes well.
The new association would be called “Sarawak Native Football Association” or Persatuan Bola Sepak Bumiputera Sarawak (PBSBS) in Malay.
According to Utusan Sarawak, the new association would be headed by Dr Puruwadi Musa, with several former excos of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) joining up to form the new comittee.
Nonetheless, the plans are still in their infancy and PBSBS is hoping FAS would sanction the creation of their new football association (FA).
Unlike FAS which is part of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), PBSBS intends to go under the Malaysia Malay Football Association and compete in the Piala Emas Raja-Raja and organize the Piala Emas TYT Football Tournament locally.
