A quick tweet from Zamri Morshidi revealed that he might soon retire from professional football if he fails to get fit in time.
Nonetheless, nothing has been carved in stone just yet with the striker telling us that he is still under rehabilitation and might seen to start training next week if he is able to.
The news comes after Zamri posted up the tweet below with him also thanking FAS for all that they have done.
Zamri was a loyal servant to Sarawak despite leaving for PKNS for a brief stint in 2013.
The 31 year old striker has proven to be a crucial goal netter when he is playing, with fans loving his fast runs and gallant attempts on goal.
Nonetheless, Zamri had to be sidelined through most of his carrier at Sarawak in 2014 after he was injured with numerous injuries unable to get him back to fitness so far. He has since been said to be offered to play for several FAM sides, but with himself still very much injured, there is nothing much both FAS and himself do for now.
Shall Zamri call it a day, it will be a great loss to Sarawak and football.
