Fans of Sarawak have admitted they are worried about their team’s 2015 performance following a fantastic display by JDT in the Malaysian League opener which saw the Southern Tigers take home the Charity Shield.
Citing the Crocs poor pre-season results, fans have flooded social media with word of concern for their team which they claim currently ‘lacks fluidity and team work’. Previously, fans have seen JDT as an equal team compared to theirs.
The recent statement by Robert Alberts, the head coach of Sarawak, has also added to the lack of confidence among the Crocs fans towards their team.
JDT showcased pure class when they defeated Pahang FA in the Charity Shield last Saturday as the team based in Larkin displayed fluid passing football which amazed many neutral fans.
Their ability to dictate play, and also tame Pahang FA which is one of the best teams in the Malaysian League, has caused many other teams to put JDT as the team to beat this season.
Nonetheless, the support for Sarawak will however be uninterrupted as local supporters group for Sarawak FA have made it clear that they would stand and cheer the Crocs regardless of if the team loses or wins.
Sarawak will play JDT on March 7, a date the Crocs fans would hope their team would be ready for such a challenge.
