The Crocs will be featuring an all local side next season with seasoned non-Sarawakian players such as Ronny Harun, Ramesh Lai, Shahril Sa’ari among those said to be facing the axe.
FAS President, Posa Majais was quoted by Utusan Sarawak as saying that next season’s team would be featuring an all Sarawakian side with all non-Sarawakian players, including the foreign imports asked to leave.
Sarawak’s current foreign players are Mateo Roskam, Sahil Suhaimi, Bruno Damerson and Milos Raichovic.
According to Posa, he believe that the Sarawakian players listed next season are able enough to help the Crocs challenge in the Liga Malaysia.
He added that if he can take up the responsibility to be the President of FAS, young players should also be able to take up their respective responsibilities for Sarawak FA.
Sarawak have been relegated from the Liga Super, but are considered favourites to return to top flight football with some reshuffles expected in the league.
