Sarawak FA now has filled the maximum quota allowed for an import player by announcing they are signing Brazilian defender Pedro Henrique Dias De Amorim.
The Brazilian was chosen ahead of French defender Zady Moise Gnenegbe.
According to an article by Utusan Borneo, the decision to sign Pedro was made following a discussion among the Sarawak FA coaching staff.
Sarawak FA team manager, Hamzah Brahim was also quoted as saying that “Pedro has the needed criteria Sarawak FA needs, and is committed to help to help his team mates”.
Pedro has been with Sarawak FA since the start of their West Malaysian pre-season, and featured in all three matches played.
The 26-year old defender stands at 1.86m and is expected to sign with the Crocs before the new Liga Premier season kicks off.
