Lady luck seems to be shining on Sarawak FA as there seems to be a great chance they are heading back into the Liga Super with one team, now in the Liga Super, said to be disbanded, though the word used was re-branded.
According to a reliable source to us, the Football Association of Terengganu (FATE) will be re-organized and rebranded with T-Team FC and Terengganu FA combined to be one team.
The move was mentioned by Terengganu government Sports Chairman comittee Datuk Rozi Mamat in a report carried out by Berita Harian, but our source has stated he is confident it is going to happen.
If say, the Terengganu government continues with their plans, it would see one vacant slot open for teams currently not in the Liga Super, with a play-off to fill the spot, said to be on the cards.
Aside from the possible vacant spot, there has also been rumours that the Liga Super would be extended to 14 teams, giving the Crocs even a bigger chance to stay in the Liga Super.
The Crocs were relegated after a scoreless draw in the final game against T-Team FC with the President of FAS saying that he is hoping for the team can remain in the Liga Super if the league was expanded.
