Sarawak’s best youngsters go to PJ Rangers

Sarawak FA will definitely be without three local Sarawakian players next season after Nur Shamie Iszuan confirmed with Utusan Borneo that he is leaving, with two more teammates.

According to a report carried out by the daily, the trio, made up of Shamie, Tommy Mawat and Shreen Tambi, would be leaving Sarawak FA for club side PJ Rangers.  PJ Rangers now plays in the third division Liga FAM.

Shamie in the report admitted he was also offered contracts by his current team Sarawak, and Selangor, but opted to go to PJ Rangers because of their ambition, and his desire to gain more experience.

The former national player also confirmed he has already agreed on the move, and his current club, the Sarawak FA has been informed.

The confirmation of the transfer by some of Sarawak’s best young talent is a huge blow to the ambition of Sarawak FA who intends to have a pure Sarawakian line-up next season.
