Sarawak are one point closer to securing their spot in the Super League next season with four tough matches now lined up as obstacles.
With the win against T-Team, the Crocs sit at 6th with 28 points, ahead of ATM, Perak, T-Team, Sime Darby, Lions XII and PKNS. The Crocs stand above Sime Darby FC with three points, but Sime Darby does looks to have a good chance to grab the full three points against relegation battlers Perak. Another game which will influence the Crocs this weekend is T-Team vs PKNS in which the eventual winner would look closer to free themselves from the bottom end of the league, hence challenging for the Crocs for a better spot in the Super League.
Although many consider their next opponent, Lions XII to be no push-overs, but Lions XII are on a poor streak of late (winning once in four games), and the Crocs can grab more than just a draw if Robert Alberts and his men play their cards right.
Regardless, Sarawak need to secure at least a draw when they take on Lions XII so that they could handle the next three difficult games, against Selangor, Pahang and JDT, without the pressure of dropping back into the Premier League.
