Sabah FA which has famed players such as El-Hadji Diouf and Abdoulaye Faye failed to defend their undefeated record after they faltered to UiTM FC at Stadium UiTM yesterday.
The Rhinos started the game down by two goals in the first halve with Raslam Khan being the toast for UiTM FC in the 25th minute.
Eight minutes later, Raslam again found the back of the net, despite a decent fight back from the visiting Rhinos.
After the half, Sabah went all out to find the goals they needed to save the game, and Diouf made a penalty count by converting it calmly to put the score 2-1, still in favour of the home side.
Despite Sabah’s gallant effort to find the equalizer, they couldn’t make it count with UiTM defending in numbers, hence ending the game at 2-1 for UiTM FC.
