Sarawak head coach Robert Alberts has heaped praise over Gabor Gyepes (photo) for being a ‘true professional’.
According to local paper New Sarawak Tribune, Robert was confident that Gabor knows how to take care of himself, while declaring that he knows Gabor would need more time to recuperate after being injured in the Malaysia Super League.
Robert also said that Gabor’s physical built requires him to have more time to be fully fit, while saying that people like Hassan Mohammad who is smaller in size would need less time to heal.
The Sarawak head coach further reiterated Gabor’s importance in the Sarawak squad as he recalled how Sarawak’s defenses crumbled in a game against Sime Darby this season.
Gabor is said to be 90 percent fit as fans await the Malaysia Cup to kicks off in two weeks. Previously, Robert had also gave indication that Muamer Salibasic and Hassan Mohammad might be dropped by the Crocs after the duo failed to recover as expected.
The Football Association of Malaysia have since confirmed that no change of foreign players would be allowed this season, hence shutting Sarawak’s intention to swap imports.
