Perhaps repeating last season’s echo, Robert Alberts has again claimed that the 2015 Malaysia Super League schedule puts his side at a disadvantage. The Dutch born coach has on numerous occasions made his mind heard about the schedules of matches involving Sarawak by saying it is unfair.
This time around, Robert is claiming that Sarawak is at the utmost disadvantage during the three matches played in Ramadan as he said that his side will need to stay extra days in the peninsular of Malaysia since there would be two away games back to back.
Robert claims that his players would be tired from all the travelling, and since it is the month of Ramadan, it would mean an extra burden for his men.
Interestingly, Robert’s comments only come after the official schedule has been released, with the man himself not opening up to the media when the schedule was still a draft. It is understood that a draft was sent to the management of Sarawak to seek any amendments before the correct schedule was released.
It is widely understood that nothing can be done to change the schedule as it is already fixed as for now.
