Rob remains optimistic despite defeat to Pahang

Despite being trashed 3-1 in Darulmakmur, head coach Robert Alberts remains optimistic of his sides chances.

The Dutch coach has statistics behind him as the Crocs have in the past avenged numerous defeats when the team plays the return leg in Kuching.

However, Roberts was reported by The Star as saying that ‘the task is not easy with Pahang being a team scoring in every match’.

The master tactician also commented that the absence of Rony Harun and Joseph Kallang is no excuse for Sarawak to let in three goals, as he added that he was disappointed that Bobby missed a clear chance on goal in the second half.

In Sarawak, the 3-1 defeat has not dampen the spirits of the fans as many are still expected to come in droves to Stadium Negeri this coming Saturday.

Social media sites report that fans are singing the same tune with Robert as they want the Crocs to beat Pahang and make the finals in Shah Alam.

Some go as far as saying “The hero always gets defeated first”.
