K. Rajagobal has made it known that he choose Sarawak as the team to coach due to it’s amazing fans.
The former head coach of the Malaysian football team said that he felt that Sarawakian supporters were extraordinary and very passionate about their team and he misses such passion when coaching a football team.
Rajagobal added that the extraordinary passion and support was something he felt dearly when he brought the national team to become champions of the 2009 Football Sea Games and the 2010 AFF Cup, and he is more than glad that he has found similar passion in Sarawak.
Sarawak’s ability to sign Rajagobal came as a shocker as many didn’t expect Rajagobal to return to the Malaysian football scene with Vietnam also said to be hot for his signature.
Nonetheless, Rajagobal finally decided that the Crocs would be his ‘comeback’ team as he was quoted as saying that he is not done yet with Malaysian football.
Rajagobal is set to take over Sarawak’s 2016 challenge as the new head coach, taking over from current temporary coach David Usop.
