The famous Borneo Derby is back with Sabah and Sarawak both eyeing something special to add to their records.
Just like Sarawak, Sabah have nothing more than to play for in the league as both teams have already secured the needed spots in the league, with Sarawak taking the crown, and Sabah being able to play in the Malaysia Cup play-offs.
However, Sarawak will want to end the season undefeated, while Sabah would want to be the first team to beat Sarawak in the league.
The rivalry between Sarawak and Sabah is undeniable, but both teams share great respect for each other.
Sarawak in particular, has four players from Sabah in their currently undefeated team, while an official from the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has revealed that they have great respect for Sabah.
For the up-coming game, Sarawak is expected to play their strongest line-up with Sabahan Bobby Gonzales leading the Crocs attack, but their defenders in the likes of Mafry Ballang, Ramesh Lai, Hairol Mokhtar and Ronny Harun is expected to be extra careful of Sabahan’s latest import Koh Traore, which has been very lethal lately.
Sabah also stands with great strength at their Likas Stadium, with a four game unbeaten home ground to defend, with their only downfall at home coming at the hands of Sime Darby and Pos Malaysia.
Nonetheless, Robert Alberts will be more than eager to add an undefeated season on his reputation, as he hopes the Crocs will go all out to win this game, and end the season in style; being the ultimate undefeated champions which won ten games in a row.
