We have been informed by a credible source that some of the Sarawak players are not happy with the change of coach in the Sarawak FA team. The source, linked well with players, have stated that some players are less keen with the new change, but decline to reveal themselves as they are contracted to the team.
Meanwhile, Facebook page Shoot Sampe Bisak Net Tiang Gol Ya (SSBNTGY) has revealed that all the players of Sarawak FA were absent from training today. According to the page, a training session has been scheduled in the morning, but their checks reveal that none of the players have turned out despite players being informed last Friday that there would be training this morning.
We checked with a player who declined to be named, and he told us that as far as he is concerned, there was training scheduled for today but said it was a decision made at the very last minute. We didn’t ask what he meant by ‘last minute’.
The player added that nobody turned out today because most of his teammates had already taken the day off for the Hari Raya holidays as stated in the original schedule they had. The original schedule allows players a longer Hari Raya leave which purportedly started last week. The player however did not respond to a question about when training is scheduled to start again.
The player’s explanation indicates serious communication problems in the Sarawak camp, and this is definitely not the start new coach Fuad Grbersik would have had in mind. Nonetheless, with such action by the players looking much like insubordination in the team, it is highly hoped that the management will need take serious measures to improve teams harmony and propel the Crocs to greater heights.
