It was revealed at yesterday’s press conference that all six new players for the Crocs choose to sign for Sarawak due to the same reason.
While some had other reasons added to their list, such as the fan base of Sarawak football, all cited the presence of K. Rajagobal as the common reason they agreed to join the Crocs.
K. Rajagobal is a household name in Malaysian football and he is hugely credited to the rebirth of interest in local Malaysian football. The award winning coach was formerly the national coach of Malaysia and was said to have turned down offers from Vietnam to sign for Sarawak.
Rajagobal was announced as the replacement of Robert Alberts in November this year, and has since made huge changes in Sarawak football, including revamping the coaching staff at Stadium Negeri.
