Sarawak need nothing less than a win tomorrow when the mighty Crocs take unfancied KL SPA Putrajaya FC (SPA FC), with the former expected to win confidently in front of a huge home crowd.
Sarawak is expected to feature one their strongest line-up with all players except Dzulazlan and Ashri Chu Chu, whom are still out on long term injury.
In the midfield compartment in particular, head coach Robert Alberts will have a headache in making a selection with the availability of all his regulars including Sharol Saperi and Guy Bwele whom have just returned from suspension.
Alberts may be also tempted to feature Junior Eldstal for his first starting game at home this time, after the midfielder made a good impression in the game against UiTM FC.
SPA FC on the other hand will continue on their quest for a top four finish in the league, and tarnish Sarawak’s amazing record at home by securing a win.
However, the quest seems rather tall with Sarawak being on form, and SPA FC having a rather dull season with two defeats and three draws in the last five games.
The Crocs as reported by local paper The Borneo Post will also not be taking this game lightly as they aim to corner league leaders Sime Darby FC for the Premier League crown, while hoping that Sime Darby drop points when they take Perlis at 4:45PM tomorrow evening (3 May 2013).
It is highly expected that Sarawak will win big in this game, with a score of 3-0 proving the most popular choice in our online poll on Facebook to date.
However, fans biggest fear is having the team take their less illusive opponents complacently.
Probably lineup for Sarawak: Sani Anuar, Ramesh Lai, Hairol Mokhtar, Guy Bwele, Ronny Harun, Junior Eldstal, Muamer Salibasic, Joseph Kallang Tie, Sharol Saperi, Azizan Baba, Bobby Gonzalez
