Sarawak will come up against the likes of Perak, Kedah and Lions XII when they play in the coming Malaysia Cup 2013, with the game against Lions XII surely going to bring back memories of last season which still haunt the Crocs.
Lions XII which are also Malaysia Super League champions, will co-incidentally meet the Malaysia Premier League champions (Sarawak), making the coming match between Sarawak versus Lions XII a much awaited affair.
Immediate response from UltraCrocs Fan Club reveal that the fans consider the artificial pitch at Jalan Bear Stadium as an obstacle, but they remain confident that Sarawak will be able to challenge the super league champions for a spot in the last eight. They added “To be the best, we must beat the best”.
This season, Lions XII scored a perfect home record in the league, a factor which many teams consider as a factor that won the Singaporean side the league title.
Nonetheless, Sarawak need to be wary of Kedah and Perak which are also threats despite of their inconsistencies in the league.
For the Sarawak fans, there is of course an added bonus as one can expect ASTRO to provide live telecast everytime the Crocs play Lions XII.
