Malaysia Super League side Perak FA has decided to extend the stay of Shamsul Saad at Stadium Ipoh by appointing him as their permanent new head coach for the coming 2016 season.
Previously, Shamsul was appointed to take over Croatian Vjeran Simunic’s seat as head coach and was given the task to take charge of the Perak in this years’ Malaysia Cup.
After Perak was knocked out the group stages, the future of the former coach of T-Teams under 23 team was unclear, until today.
The 40-year old Shamsul hails from Taiping and was a former player at the club from 2000 until 2009.
Aside from the appointment of Shamsul, Perak also announced the appointment of Dato Shahrul Yahya as the new team manager of the club for next season.
