Penang FA signs Argentinian midfielder

Penang Football Association (PFA) today announced they have welcomed their second import player for the coming season all the way from Argentina.

The 31-year old attacking midfielder, known as Matias Jesus Cordoba had stints in America, Australia, Mexico and his home country Argentina. Among the clubs he had played with are Perth Glory FC in the A-League and Atlante F.C in Mexico.

Born at Lanús, Argentina, Matias debut came in the Primera Division Argentina with club Argentinos Juniors on June 10, 2005.

The 1.75m Matias record does not show he is a natural goal scorer.
