The Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) has confirmed that only Negaraku would be allowed during Malaysia League games.
Aside from Negaraku, the FiFA march in anthem would also still be retained during matches.
Other songs and anthems, including state songs will not be allowed says FMLLP at the Liga Premier and Liga Super briefing today.
According to FMLLP, which is the agency given task to run the Malaysia League, playing more than Negaraku and the FiFA anthem will delay kick off and this is not good to the warm up preparations player have made for the game.
Last season, home teams made it a habit to play four songs before the game with the FiFA anthem played first, followed by the state anthems of respective teams, and finally the Negaraku.
