A rumour going strong on social media today is that a new Sarawak FA head coach has been identified.
Sarawak FA is currently ‘headless’ after Posa Majeis, the president of the club, announced both Anai Igang and David Usop was ‘rested’.
The abrupt decision by Posa meant that Sarawak returned from West Malaysia without a head and assistant coach.
Anyway, based on the rumour, it appears that the new head coach is favoured by the players, and he is still considered ‘young’.
We aren’t sure who is the new head coach as it is just a rumour going around on social media but if the rumour is accurate, it shows that the new head coach is someone familiar with the team.
Knowing Sarawak doesn’t have ‘the kind of money’ to hire Jose Mourinho, we expect the new head coach to also be a local Sarawakian.
Our guess, based on the rumour is that former Sarawak player Safri Amit might be the man for the job.
However, our predictions aren’t always accurate so do take it with a pinch of salt for now.
