[MSL] Sarawak FA vs Perak FA

A fresh looking Perak would love to avenge their 6-1 defeat to Sarawak when they visit the Crocs at Stadium Negeri today.

The side which were booted out by the Crocs last season had lost more than half of their players after the management accused the players of match-fixing in the game which saw Perak powerless to match up to the abilities of the spirited Sarawak players.

But scouts from UltraCrocs has revealed that Perak would not be an easy nut to crack this time around. The Seladangs, according to UltraCrocs, do not concede easily, and are clinical in the box, and they proved this by beating football giants Kelantan during their last Super League outing.

In attack, the Seladangs depend heavily on set pieces with them mimicking Sarawak’s long throwing set pieces through Nasir Basharuddin. Standing in line to receive the throw would be strikers Eliel da Cruz Guardiano and Želimir TerkeÅ¡ whom stand above 180 cm.

Experienced Hardi Jaafar and Ahmad Sukri boast the midfield of the Seladangs but Noor Hazrul who plays on the flanks is the person having the most assist to date.

A disciplined defence keeps the Seladangs from leaking goals but it is highly believed that they will eventually fall when overwhelming pressure is exerted to them.

Newly promoted Sarawak would be expected to field their usual players with Gabor Gyepes and Junior Eldstal making a come back to the team. Up front, it is likely that Aliredza might get the nod as Milorad Janjus is still doubtful. In fact, it is rumoured that Muamer Salibasic might make an appearance from the bench, but that remains to be known because Robert Alberts may not want to rush the Bosnian into action after since he is still recovering from injury.

Regardless, this game is expected to be a cracking game, with the Crocs more than eager to extend their current 4-games unbeaten run in all competitions.

With an expected bumper crowd at Stadium Negeri, we expect nothing less than a good win from the Crocs, despite the fact that Sarawak does not have a good record against the gusty Seladangs since 2004.
