MPSJ 0-2 Sarawak: Crocs second string score win in friendly

Sarawak played their second string of players in an unscheduled friendly match against MBSJ tonight and came out winners with a 2-0 score.

However, the goals only came when head coach Robert Alberts started putting in his regular players into the field with the likes of Joseph Kallang Tie and Muamer Salibasic making an appearance. Also making an appearance are several unknown players which are believed to be traillist for next seasons squad.

The game started off well for the Crocs with the team holding the ball well, and MPSJ looking the weaker of both sides.

Despite that, the Crocs failed to capitalize on their chances and the score remained level until the breather.

When the game restarted, Robert Alberts brought in both Joseph and Muamer to sharpen the Crocs midfield.

The move proved to me magical as Sharol Malek put one in for the visiting team.

Eager to show they are no pushovers, MPSJ replied the goal with an attack which Sarawak third choice keeper Aidil Mohamad pushed out to safety.

The Crocs doubled their scoreline again just before the final whistle when Shahran Samad headed in a corner kick off Joseph.

With the lead, the Crocs held their defense tight, and won the match with a deserving 2-0 score.
