After half a year being sacked by Real Sociedad, David Moyes is keen to return to England.
This time around, it is likely that he will take charge of Aston Villa with the former Manchester United and Real Sociedad manager expressing his interest in reviving Villa which have been relegated.
Nothing concrete has been made known for now, but it is known that Moyes and Villa’s head of recruitment Paddy Riley, did have a discussion when Moyes was still with Real Sociedad.
However, talks stalled after it was reported that Moyes requested for 12 players which cost Villa £55m, prompting Riley to go for Frenchmen, Remi Garde.
Moyes’s desire to coach Villa is however with competition as Mick McCarthy, Steve Bruce, Sean Dyche and current favorite Nigel Pearson also said to be listed for the job.
