NS Matrix secured a coup for next year when they signed two mix-blooded players for their 2016 campaign.
The players, identified as Kevin Gunter and Daniel Ting will don NS Matrix for next year and should be a key feature in the starting eleven of the team based in Paroi.
According to the information we obtained, both Daniel and Kevin have roots in Sarawak and have played football abroad.
Kevin who plays as a midfieder, is a former player for SC Young Fellows Juventus and FC Weidiko. Daniel Ting on the other hand is is a defender and had previously played for Droyslden, Crewe Alexandra, Market Drayton Town and Congleton Town.
It is uncertain if both players hold the Malaysian passport for now, but reactions from Kevin on twitter reveal that they are likely to be filling the ‘Malaysian quota’ for NS Matrix, signalling that they are most likely to either already have a Malaysian passport, or are working towards it.
Both Daniel and Kevin did tryout for Johor Darul Ta’zim this season, with Daniel also trying out for Sarawak in May.
