The Crocs continued to shock football observers after it took them 45 minutes to ensure victory against Terengganu, which is a side that beat highly rated Selangor last weekend.

Playing in front of a capacity crowd, the Crocs didn’t disappoint with Billy Mehmet finding the back of the net in the third minute. The move began with Sharol Saperi and Ivan Fatic exchanging passes, before releasing it to awaiting Billy who made it coount for the home side.

Terengganu were barely able to settle with the fact they were already behind in the game when Joseph Kalang fed Ashri Chu Chu a fantastic cross, with the Ashri brilliantly hitting it to the back of the net, much to the disbelief of the Terengganu fans.

Down 2-0 at the 5th minute Terengganu tried to get back in the game, but Sarawak continued their impressive control over the game at Stadium Negeri.

The Turtles however managed to contain Sarawak’s attack and a quick counter attack by the visiting side saw Paolo Rangel put one behind the net.

Sarawak doubled their effort for the third goal, but Terengganu goalkeeper Sharbinee was up to the task to deny the powerful header from Ivan Fatic.

The game went from end to end with Gustavo Lopez creating chances for his side, but the defense line of Sarawak which was led by Ronny Harun fared well to deny any further goals.

In the 39th minute, Joseph Kalang put himself on the score sheet. The favourite Sarawak midfielder connected a pass from Ashri Chu Chu, and sailed it into the goal with a fantastic scissors kick.

The game stayed in favour for the Crocs until half time with the game still very much looking for a winner.

When the second half started, the visiting Terengganu side started to take control of the game and dictate the midfield through Gustavo whom was a master in midfield. Nonetheless, his passes failed to break the defences of Sarawak despite numerous efforts.

Ashaari almost scored his sides second goal in the 59th minute, but his shot on goal was pushed out by Iqbal Suhaimi, with another try by Billy Mehmet for Sarawak saved by Sharbinee.

Terengganu also managed to score a goal in the 83rd minute, but the goal was ruled as offside.
