The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has reiterated that teams qualified in the Malaysia Cup this season will not allowed to strengthen their team with additional players from other teams, including those from non-qualifying teams.
According to FAM, the teams were already allowed two transfer windows this season, and they were foretold of the rules for this year’s Malaysia Cup in regards to transfer of players.
The comment came after several teams qualifying for the Malaysia Cup have stated their intention to strengthen their teams to win the most prized cup in the Malaysian football.
