LPS 2026: Samarahan FA Maintains Lead as Bintulu FA Takes Over Top Spot in Zone A

The 2026/27 Liga Premier Sarawak (LPS) continued with another round of competitive action in LPS 6, with six matches producing four winners and two draws across Sarawak.

Kuching FA secured an important away victory after defeating ATM 0–2, while Bintulu FA recorded the biggest win of the round with a convincing 3–0 victory over Limbang.

In another match, Miri FA edged Sarikei FA 2–1 to collect all three points.

Mukah FA also came away with a 2–0 win against Kapit FA, continuing their positive campaign in the competition.

Meanwhile, Serian FA and Samarahan FA shared the points after a 1–1 draw, while Sri Aman FA and PORM played out a goalless 0–0 draw.

Zone A – Northern Zone

The results had caused the biggest positional changes in Zone A (Utara).

Bintulu FA has moved from second place after LPS 5 to top of the table, collecting 10 points from four matches.

Sibu FA, which previously led the zone with eight points, has dropped to second despite retaining the same points tally.

Miri FA has climbed from fourth to third, increasing its total from four to seven points. Limbang FA, meanwhile, drops from third to fourth but remains on six points.

Mukah FA has made the biggest upward move in the middle of the table, rising from sixth to fifth after increasing its tally from two to five points.

Sarikei FA drops from fifth to sixth with two points, while Kapit FA remains seventh with one point.

Zone B – Southern Zone

Meanwhile, in zone B Samarahan FA remains firmly at the top of Zone B (Selatan) after LPS 6, collecting 13 points from five matches.

The league leaders improved from 12 points in LPS 5 to 13 points in LPS 6, while Kuching FA also strengthened its position in second with 12 points, compared with nine previously.

Serian FA remains third, moving from six to seven points.

Further down the table, ATM FA and Betong FA remain fourth and fifth respectively, both on four points. Sri Aman FA and PDRM FA continue to occupy sixth and seventh, although both sides have moved from zero to one point.
