The Crocs failed to continue their impressive winning momentum in the Liga Premier tonight after they were defeated by UiTM FC.
Playing in front of a sizable crowd, UiTM showed their intentions in the game by slotting in the opening goal in the with Lucas Ramon scoring in the 11th minute of the game.
The varsity boys doubled their lead in the 32nd minute with Lucas again defeating Sarawakian goalkeeper Firdaus Mohamed.
The Crocs clawed back in the 45th minute through Mateo Roskam, but UiTM again ensured their lead was comfortable enough with Dao Bakary putting in UiTM’s third goal in the 57th minute of play.
Not wanting to give up, the Crocs pressed on, and scored the last goal of the match in the 79’th minute with Mateo slotting in a spot kick.
The game ended with the Crocs defeated by the single goal, and the full time score at 3-2.
