Sarawak FA needs to collect the full three points when they entertain bottom place Terengganu FC II today.
There’s two more matches left for Sarawak FA in the Liga Premier.
Sarawak FA is currently second from the bottom with 19 points and there is high likelihood that Sarawak FA will be relegated if they fail to win against Terengganu FC II.
A stalemate result would also not do Sarawak FA any favours because Terengganu FC II is assumed to have a 50-50 chance against MISC-MIFA in their last Liga Premier match. This assumption is made due to the fact that the match would be played by Terengganu FC II at home.
This is contrasting with Sarawak FA’s final match which is deemed difficult. Felcra FC is currently on-form at home, and past meetings between the two had favoured Felcra FC.
Even if Sarawak FA does win the full three points against Terengganu FC II tonight, their standing in the Liga Premier would be at the mercy of UKM FC, Pulau Pinang FA and UiTM FC.
A win by any of these three teams would spell more trouble for Sarawak FA because it would mean Sarawak FA needs to win against Felcra FC, with a draw not even an option.
That said, Sarawak FA must not drop any points tonight, and if they do, Liga FAM would likely be their next destination. – SarawakCrocs.com
