Kuching Division Football Association (KDFA) will be organizing a football carnival this weekend with Korean stars, comprising of celebrities and football players from South Korea, also flying in to participate in a charity match.
According to a report carried out by The Borneo Post, the Korean stars would come under the name Seoul Stars, and they would play two football matches during the carnival.
Each match would be played for 15 minutes and followed by performances, scheduled in between each match making the event not only a football match, but an event full of entertainment as well.
It is understood that five out of the 19 South Korean celebrity players for Seoul Stars are former professional football players namely Choi Youngil, Lee Sangyoon, Choi Jinchul, Gu Jamyung and Son Myunggi.
Other members of the Seoul Stars team are Noh Jihoon, Jung Doohong, Lee Jongsu, Jung Euigap, Jung Junho, Jung Taewoo, Kim Hakdo, Park Sangmyun, Joosuc, Kim Dongyoon, Yoon Taeksang and Kim Donggyun.
The report further said that two renowned South Korean singers-Solbi and Kim Jong Seo will perform during the carnival.
It is understood that entrance to the matches would be free, and the kick-off is 7:30PM as seen on the promotional poster above.
