In a surprise move, the Southern Tigers have officially made an announcement they would be boasting the services of 24-year-old Agrentinian Patricio “Patito” Rodriguez who plays trade in the Brazilian League. Patricio would be signed on a loan deal and will arrive in Johor this 14 March.
The playmaker will replace out-going Jorge Pereyra Diaz whom would join a Brazil club soon.
JDT, via its President, HRH Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ismail, explained that they hope to tie up the youngster in November if the loan with JDT goes well.
Patricio was said to have been on JDT’s radar for quite sometime, and JDT is also planning more surprises when the April transfer window opens for the Malaysia League.
