JDT head coach unimpressed with pitch, but impress with local boys

The head coach of Johor Darul Ta’zim football club (JDT FC), Ulisses Manuel Morais, had expressed his disappointment over the pitch quality at Stadium Negeri last weekend, when the Crocs entertained JDT for the Malaysia Cup Group D match.

According to the Portugese coach, the poor pitch conditions affected both teams, and that had caused both teams to play below their real standard.

Despite the negative comment on the Stadium Negeri pitch, the coach however rained praises on the Sarawak FA young team that took on his experienced side.

According to Morais, despite their bottom placing in the group, the Crocs fought gallantly and never looked like a team currently occupying that position.

Morais comments will definitely be a moral booster to the young Sarawak FA side which will need every bit of encouragement to not only secure a win in both the Liga Super and Piala Malaysia, but also pull themselves out of the relegation zone in the Liga Super. – SarawakCrocs
