Italy’s fame for strong defending might be playing a huge part in Sarawak next season after rumours on social media report that the Crocs are now giving Davide Grassi a chance to impress Sarawak head coach K Rajagobal.
Shall everything work well, Grassi will fill one of the two vacant slots available for a foreign import in the Crocs.
Grassi, a product of Parma’s youth system had previously played with Scottish Premiership side Dundee United with his last club to be Romanian second division Fotbal Club Rapid București.
The arrival of Grassi signals that Rajagobal is looking for alternatives to fill the foreign player quota, and that Ronald Hikspoors is not a firm choice at the back just yet.
