Hairol Mokhtar joins Harimau Malaya to China

Although initially placed as a reserved player, tall center back for Sarawak, Hairol Mokhtar has made the cut to China to play for the national team guided by K. Rajagopal.

According to our sources, Hairol was called in after Faizal Muhammad of Terengganu was dropped.

The opportunity means that the Sarawakian born Hairol may earn his first cap for the nation shall Rajagopal decide to play him at the defence.

Hairol in response posted on Facebook that he was delighted to be join for the national team, hoped for a safe journey to China, and back to Malaysia.

Malysia is expected to play China’s national football team in a class A friendly match.
