Former Sarawak striker courts Rhinos

Premier League side Sabah is now actively looking for new foreign signings to beef up their squad for the coming season and they have attracted a star which Sarawak football fans have adored.

The person is none other than Muamer Salibasic, a Bosnian striker which became Sarawak’s top goalscorer when he was playing with the Crocs in 2013.

Salibasic arrived at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) today and is expected to join the Rhinos for training for a few days, as he tries to impress Vjeran Simunić.

The 31-year old Bosnian has been previously linked to Sabah last season, but nothing had materialized then. The latest development however confirms that Sabah had indeed been watching the development of the former ace striker of Sarawak.

According to our sources, Salibasic had also been offered a place at several clubs in South East Asia, but is keeping his options open.

We tried to contact Salibasic, but he has yet to respond.
