Rumors are going strong about the new head coach for Kuching City FC.
In the last post-match interview, interim coach Firdaus Morshidi had given an indication that he will not be helming the post much longer as the management is currently active in seeking a new head coach.
“I know the management is currently looking for a new head coach and they are considering their options” Firdaus said to reporters after the match versus Kelantan FC last Friday.
“A head coach needs to have a Pro-A license. Maybe next week (this week), but I am not sure. Only the management knows.” he adds.
Meanwhile on social media, rumors are strong that Kuching City is looking at appointing a foreign head coach to lead the team, although there are also rumors suggesting a former Liga Super head coach could be signing for The Cats as early as Tuesday (tomorrow).
Kuching City are currently third from the bottom of the league with only seven points to show off from 17 matches.
The dismal results had cause both their head and assistant coach, Irfan Bakti and Sulaiman Hussin, to resign effective immediately from the club.
