The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) is set to announce the final import for Sarawak FA today.
There are two obvious choices with Anai Igang looking to beef up his defenses ahead of the opening of the Liga Premier this coming 2 Fenruary.
FAS yesterday announced that they would be choosing between French defender Zady Moise Gnenegbe, or Brazilian defender Pedro Henrique Dias De Amorim.
Both players played during the Sarawak pre-season tour in West Malaysia recently.
We had already covered Pedro’s origins in our last article, so here we would talk more about Zady.
According to www.transfermarkt.co.uk, Zady’s last stint was with Thai said Chachoengsao FC. While he is announced by Sarawak as a defender, the same website claims he he can play as a defensive midfielder. This is good in our opinion as it does give Anai more options to play Zady.
Other clubs he had joined are AC Tripoli and Naxxar Lions FC, with most of his former clubs keeping him for at least two seasons.
The 28-year old is tall at 1.92m, and his big sized body reminds us of Guy Bwele.
It would be interesting who gets the nod from FAS today, but let’s just wait and see.
