The official Facebook page of the Sarawak Football Association (FAS) revealed that a fan collapsed and died during the thrilling match between Sarawak and Sime Darby FC last night.
The late Razali Bin Paee was said to be seated at the open stands when he suddenly fell during the climax of the ‘top of the table’ clash.
Emergency members of the JPA who were on duty during the game were rushed to the scene to assist, but it was reported that the late Razali died on the way to the hospital.
The fans of Sarawak football have since offered their prayers to the deceased. Junior Eldstal in a tweet confirmed that Sarawak FA players will be going to the house of the deceased to offer their condolences today (Saturday).
