With Euro 2016 coming up this weekend, we took time to check out which kit looks best out of the many released. Here’s our take on which team has the best in descending order. The rank of the kits are based on the natural colours of the team it represents, as well as its uniqueness, and not forgetting our own judgement.
Before you check out our list, remember that this is our list. Fell free to list yours on the comment section too!
Iceland (Home Kit)
To be completely honest, Iceland really needs to swap the shorts of their away and home kit. This would make the kit look much better as two colours would feature. Nonetheless, the way the lone stripe goes up to the logo on the left of the kit makes Iceland’s Errea kit look very nice.
Ireland (Home Kit)
The UMBRO home kit of Ireland doesn’t look much different compared to the away kit, but the red line on the home kit won us over. The vertical large lines in front of the kit also added flavour to the whole design.
Albania (Away Kit)
Macron’s away kit for Albania puts both black and red in new perspective. The kit is definitely different, and the colours of Albania are well shown when the shorts are included. The crest fits nicely with the kit too!
Wales (Away Kit)
While the away kit of Wales doesn’t go in the typical Wales flag, we felt there was some uniqueness in the design given that it incorporates the green ‘Welsh’ stripes.
Poland (Home kit)
Like the Poland flag, the kit for Poland this EURO 2016 looks rather simple. However the addition of stripes at the lower end of this home kit makes it special.
Italy (Away kit)
We normally do not favor thin strips in the middle of a kit, but Puma did it right with the Italian Euro 2016 kit. Looking classic in white, this Italian is one of the few kits with lines in the middle that look really appealing.
Spain (Home Kit)
The Spannish armada will retain its glorious colours for EURO 2016, but we like what Adidas did to enhance the home kit. If you look closely, the home kit has little golden triangular shapes draped over it, making it unique to Spain this time around.
Croatia (Home Kit)
Croatia’s home kit has not changed much over the years and they are one of the few teams which had remained true to their kit design and colours. This time around, kit manufacturer Nike gets creative by retaining the glorious colours of Croatia with fine blue lines making the kit strike out.
France (Away Kit)
Staying true to the France flag, you will not find another kit like what Nike did for France’s away kit. A clear depiction of France’s patriotism, yet a great kit to wear ‘jalan-jalan‘.
Turkey (Home Kit)
Nike did very well with the Turkey home kit for the EURO 2016. It looks fantastic and almost ‘spiderman’ like. While the kit might not win Turkey the championship, they did however win us over through their kit! We are certainly getting one for keeping!
